Grass carp help with hydrilla on LKN
The sterile grass carp are used to control hydrilla and other water-borne plants in Lake Norman, which, left unchecked, can affect native fish populations, become a nuisance to boaters and anglers and even clog the water intakes for Duke Energy’s power plants and the municipalities that draw water from the lake.
Acquatic Center Planned for LKN
